I've been involved in music all my life. I started playing piano in the first grade and began singing in the third grade. In fact, I composed my very first piano piece, entitled "The Mountain's Edge", when I was only in fifth grade. I became interested in electronic dance music at the age of 12, and started making my own electronica at the young age of 13. To this day, I have been working in a digital audio workstation program called FL Studio, which allows me to turn my thoughts into meaningful music. I work on producing music and music theory for about 10-20 hours a week, and I've spent upwards of around 50 hours working on single songs. In 2014, I joined my first record label, Future Coast, which is a small independent record label out of Chicago that featured underground music producers like myself.
There's plenty of electronic sub-genres out there, such as techno, house, trap, and most notably: dubstep. Over the course of my multiple years working in FL Studio, I've admittedly worked with almost all of them. However, up until early 2016, I enjoyed making progressive house music (like the generic stuff you hear on the radio nowadays). The year of 2016 was a huge turning point for me when I started to 'find my sound'. This is when I released my very first hybrid-trap tune: "Hash It Out" on RED/CYAN. The experimental song got such wonderful feedback from the community that I continued to exhibit the same style of production in later releases.
In late 2017, I joined BlueBird to release my biggest single to date, "Alive". As for 2018, I am starting up my own podcast pretty soon, so stay tuned!
