Dicelate is an electronic dance music (EDM) producer from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is mainly known for his songs within the trap genre, but has also dived into other genres such as electro house, future bass, and occasionally a piano tune.
Dicelate began his musical career at the age of only 11, when he created his first piano piece, called "The Mountain's Edge". He was also involved in his school choir, and pursued singing as a hobby to this very day. At the age of 13, he started producing electronic music in a digital audio workstation called FL Studio. At the age of 15, he was signed to Future Coast, a small independent record label based out of Chicago, Illinois. By the time he turned 17 years old, he started creating more experimental music unique to himself.
In 2016, Dicelate's debut release on RED/CYAN, entitled "Hash It Out", signified a turning point for the young artist, as it gave him a foundation for his mission as a music producer. The song received amazing publicity, including being featured as an exclusive on Drop The Bassline, a very well-known promotion outlet with nearly one million fans. As a matter of fact, this experimental song got such wonderful feedback from the community that he continued to exhibit the same style of production in his later releases.
Today, Dicelate continues to develop new music, and has recently signed to the label BlueBird.
